Currently, we are on the lookout of People Partner, who will work closely with delivery circles and provide crucial support to both employees and managers in a variety of key people management areas, creating a positive, fair, and engaging work environment while ensuring alignment with company policies and values. You’ll have the opportunity to shape employee experience, foster development, and drive positive organizational change. This role will allow you to act as a strategic partner while supporting day-to-day operations across performance management, employee engagement, and much more.
This role is pivotal for the ongoing growth of Valtech Bulgaria and we are looking for a mature and seasoned professional who is also proactive and not afraid to challenge the status quo in order to foster an inclusive, fair, and integrated working environment.
The Role:
- Participate in final-round interviews to assess alignment with company culture and values.
- Oversee onboarding, track probation period and facilitate six-month review meetings for employees.
- Guide employees and managers through performance management, including goal setting, feedback, and progress tracking.
- Coach managers on motivation, engagement, and handling various employee situations.
- Conduct 1:1s with team managers to discuss employee challenges, project updates, and leadership strategies.
- Mediate conflicts, escalate risks, and advise on best solutions for people issues.
- Conduct regular 1:1s with employees to assess risks and career development needs.
- Support retention strategies, career planning, and provide mentoring and training as needed.
- Partner with managers to ensure equitable and competitive salary decisions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve onboarding, offboarding, and other key people processes.
- Develop and deliver training programs on various topics such as burnout prevention, conflict resolution, and leadership.
The ideal candidate's skills:
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of performance management, compensation, and employee relations.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
- Proven ability to act as a bridge between people and business, ensuring alignment between employee needs and organizational goals.
- Business acumen in the consulting industry, with an understanding of how to work with managers, developers, and address employee concerns.
- Ability to navigate complex HR processes while driving efficiency.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, empathy and discretion.
- Excellent command of English
